Look, I found where to comment! Go me! Cafe Zingaro kills the rest. I would fly across the country just for their banana bread plus they put fun designs on your latte.

WHAT?!?! No Espresso Vivace?!?! Okay, that's it you have some serious explaining to do. I have spent many an hour productively drafting patents in their roasting room. Of course they close at 11pm, so then it off to BauHaus until they close...

Don't forget the Trabant in the U-District. It's by far my favorite spot to spend an entire day working. The drinks are delicious, the music consistently comfortable, and the people down to earth and respectful.

B&O has the best BLT in town, IMHO... but their coffee pales in comparison to places like Stumptown on Capitol Hill. Though my personal favorite place as far as quality of coffee is a hole-in-the-wall in Edmonds called ZuKafe, but it's in Edmonds so it's significantly out of the way of Seattle. They use Stumptown roast and a Synesso espresso machine, and they have the right hands operating said machine.

I'd tell you to go there, but considering your recent post about time, the last thing you need is an addiction to a coffee shop 20 minutes north of Seattle... and that's when traffic isn't backed up to the Stadiums. Ha.
