I think the focus on academia and non-profit work is of the gaps of Swarthmore (as well as one of the reasons I loved it so!) but that as we go forth and talk to non-Swatties (per Al Bloom's commencement speech) we have the opportunity to expand our minds and challenge our thinking. Private enterprise can definitely make a positive change in the world :) Matt, I agree that it was great to see our class doing well 4 years out. As "unbusiness" as Swat tends to be, I think private industry does have a real chance to make positive change in the world. So I give equal props to the Garrett's as I do to the other folks that seem to be making a difference in the workforce - woot for all!
